This monograph aims to analyze the modality called BYOD (Bring Your Own
Device). It is a technology that involves services, policies and technologies that
enable employees to perform professional activities using their own equipment, such
as smatphones, tablets or notebooks. This mobility facilitates productivity and agility
in the execution of tasks.
This is a worldwide concept that has been gaining strength among organizations, it
draws the attention of companies both for the gain of productivity and for the
reduction in investments in equipment. For this, a study was carried out on BYOD,
analyzing the main technologies to maintain the security of corporate data, and the
care with the use of mobile devices, the security challenges that the company must
have when implementing the modality, was used a qualitative methodology of
exploratory and descriptive nature to complete the work. The main results show that
a BYOD security policy well implemented the risk of loss of corporate data are
minimal. |
