This work presents the importance of the digital immigrant teachers’ training process for the use of digital information and communication technologies in the school environment, based on the analysis of data taken from the research conducted by the brazilian internet steering committee in 2017. The text presents the importance of the training of digital immigrant teachers in order to improve pedagogical practices that allow digital natives students to become interested in and become involved in the appropriation of knowledge, to realize its importance for understanding the world, and making use of it in a social, political and cultural way, with a view to a dignified and participative life in society. It is necessary to create conditions for the development of actions that make the present teachers protagonists of the teaching and learning process, from the insertion of the technologies in the school environment, considering pedagogical and formative intentionality and the new ways of learning of the current generation. |
