Resumo: This work performs an analysis of the short animation of Pearl, using the mobile as screen to verify the same film in two different platforms, one being in 2D theatrical version and the other in 360º mobile VR and thus compare the differences of potential narratives. The proposal to make this comparison is a reflection of the increase in content production for VR media and ask whether such a platform refers to immersion in a more intense "degree" and whether the use of technology brings a different narrative potential. To accomplish out this research the focal interview with a group of participants was applied in the experiment with the intention of producing a comparative between experience. The result of the research demonstrated that the sense of presence within the film does not bring a real understanding of the narrative compared to the feature of focusing on the intent of the 2D version.
