Resumo: |
The level of interior cabin sound has always been an important factor in the overall appeal of a vehicle. With the proliferation of in-vehicle entertainment and communication systems, the importance of a quieter interior has become even more pronounced. Car manufacturers are taking significant steps to create a quiet ambient inside the vehicles cabin. Legacy methods of dampening sound through additional insulation are not very and they increase the weight and cost of the vehicle. As a result, automotive parts suppliers are turning their researchs on the sound insulation using electronic solutions, such as the Active Noise Control (ANC) systems to reach this challenge with low costs. With the aim of contributing to the research of ANC technologies applied to motor vehicles, this work proposes the design of an active adaptive filter using the least squares method (LMS) in the treatment of noise signals that enter the cabin of a motor vehicle. |
