Resumo: The present study discusses the proposal of the insertion of videos in the classes and also the production made by the students, with the purpose of making the school scope part of the reality of the students and seek to make the abstract knowledge become meaningful and concrete. For, video is a tool that can be used in all disciplines. The media and technologies in general are growing rapidly in the social and educational environment, so it is important that the tools that involve the new ICTs are used in class to bring the learner closer and promote the production of their knowledge in a meaningful way. Thus it is necessary to overcome the obstacles and difficulties that school has when it is spoken in Technologies and the precarious access to the Internet, giving the student autonomy of search for the knowledge sometimes easier and, by means of which the teacher is detached from the tradiocional and also learn with the students, therefore, it is known that these often surpass the teacher when the subject is technology. The video in this case is attractive and brings great benefits to teaching-learning, ranging from subject research, editing and final results. The proposed work was developed by the Portuguese Language teacher who provided the production of significant and interesting knowledge, making teaching-learning a constant search for knowledge both of the student and teacher. The research was adopted to constitute the knowledge and production of the audiovisual through research poem declamation and sonnets production. The work was carried out with students of Elementary School II, of the School of Basic Education Dom Daniel Hostin, city of Matos Costa from research on authors and about the literary period, Arcadismo, and the recording reciting the Lira xxi by Tomás Antônio Gonzaga. The main objective was to create a video for a better understanding of the theme, allowing students to have autonomy and criticality, since the historical context of the Arcadian period in Brazil is quite significant, mainly because it had a very important movement with the "Inconfidencia Mineira".
