Resumo: Chicken production in refrigerators requires a significant amount of water. In manual processes, the control of water consumption becomes more difficult to perform, thus, the automation of water consuming processes allows automatic control of the consumption of this resource in production, contributing to sustainability and better use of resources natural resources, which is increasingly scarce. This work seeks to reduce water consumption in a refrigerator by automating processes that are now manual, so that they are monitored and controlled by automatic and intelligent system. Automated systems can generate information and be tracked in real time, making it easier to manage company resources and integrating productivity with unmanaged data and generating information around the clock, keeping pace with new automation trends and close to industry trends. 4.0 that helps you manage and integrate an organization's entire production system. In a refrigerator in southwestern Paraná will be analyzed the production processes, identifying recurrent losses in water consumption. The study will be developed with the tools of continuous improvement quality (PDCA).
