Resumo: |
This work aims to foster discussions about the teaching and learning processes in Mathematics through proposals of activities solved in the learning environment of Mathematical Modeling from the perspective of Almeida, Silva and Vertuan (2012) and subsidized by the Hypothetical Learning Trajectory proposed by Simon (1995). Three activities are proposed that deal with the teaching of trigonometric functions, especially Sine and Cosseno type functions, which can be developed by Mathematical Modeling. They are distinguished mainly by the students' autonomy in solving them, which Silva, Almeida and Gerôlomo (2011) classify as different moments of familiarization of students with modeling activities. In addition, we present the HLT as a tool that can be very effective in planning activities such as the ones we present. For each activity, which is inserted in a different moment of familiarization of the students with the modeling, the trajectories have different objectives and approaches. Also presented in this work are some researches that deal with modeling and trigonometry and some that deal with HLT in mathematics teaching. And also the potentialities of the use of applets in the teaching of trigonometry that further enrich the proposals presented here. |
