This work had as its theme the teaching of History in Basic Education. The purpose of the study was to describe methodologies in the teaching of History in Basic Education in the XXI century, emphasizing its social purpose and the teaching and learning process, based on a qualitative bibliographical and documentary study, based on historical and dialectical materialism. It is considered to be of the utmost importance that the professional who teaches the discipline of History, especially in Basic Education, make use of diversified methodologies, in order to contribute to the formation of historical and social awareness, in addition to favoring the development of the teaching process and learning. The discussion focuses on three moments the first moment. It analyzes the historicity of the teaching of History in Basic Education in the XXI st century, highlighting its teaching as curricular discipline in contemporary and educational policies, especially in Paraná. The second moment presents several methodologies for teaching history, focusing on the use of historical sources and methodological procedures in the teaching of History, as well as a brief contextualization about the textbook. The third moment approaches in relation to History the importance of its study, emphasizing the relevance of the use of teaching methodologies and its reflection in the formation of the student. |
