This work had as its theme the role of the Educational Advisor in the Technical Schools of the Paula Souza Center – Vale do Paraíba region, for the challenge of describing the implementation of the work of the Educational Advisor, the importance of this position in public technical schools and the acceptance of all school community. In 2013, the Government of the State of São Paulo, together with the Paula Souza Superintendency of the Center, created the position of Educational Advisor, known in a restricted way in the agricultural schools of this municipality. The research was carried out in two schools in the Vale do Paraíba region, São José dos Campos and Jacareí. The management team (composed of Directors, Pedagogical Coordinators and Educational Advisors), teachers and students were as collaborators. The present monograph is based on bibliographic research, qualitative research and research done through questionnaires throughout the School Community, with emphasis on acceptance and the role of the Educational Advisor, often confused as student inspector and pedagogical coordinator. |
