Resumo: The phase of literacy is fundamental in a child's life and if the environment is prepared to meet it can make all the difference. The affection may help children who are having difficulty learning or who have attention deficit at all stages of its development. Just realized the need to verify the relationship between the teacher, the student and affection, especially in children with attention deficit. Is characterized as qualitative research is and its purpose proposes to examine how affection can influence and assist in the learning of students with attention deficit phase of literacy. The research was conducted in a school of municipal public elementary school in the early grades “A” sample was composed of 22 people, including 10 teachers from municipal and 12 students enrolled in the 2nd to 4th year/series. As a tool we used two questionnaires, each with 10 closes questions, directed to teachers and the other specific students. It was found with the results that teachers need to stop listening to more students and have a relationship guided more affectivity. Some teachers argue that the main factor of the lack of affection would be the absence of the parents and also the lack of affection or family rejection has great influence on student learning. We conclude that every day the school has faced constant conflicts by being away from emotional ties. Some teachers seek to provide opportunities for students, but others still are afraid of change that affection may cause. The students seek attention and understanding, but they aren't being understood and need different look from his teacher to remedy the difficulties in learning.
