Such work aims to address the methodology of the evaluation process of cognitive development in early childhood education. Exhibiting the best way to understand the assessment process and the methodologies, highlighting the importance of children's cognitive development and emphasizing Vygotsky's theory as a scholar who has analyzed the development of children accurately, highlighting the role of the teacher as primary and essential training and assessment of children. After demonstrating aspects of evaluation in the context of early childhood education and its importance, a brief history of early childhood education in Brazil, the relationship of child development with the characteristics of evaluation and consideration by the teacher's work, certain characteristics are discussed after the process evaluation and suggestions for the implementation of assessment: portfolios, tests, peer review, through self-assessment and interview, based on literature search for both. |
