This research has been prepared with the intention to portray the knowledge of a group of teachers of the lower grades of a public school from Paraná about Dyscalculia. To make this work the researcher asked the teachers interviewed through a questionnaire aiming to raise the knowledge that each has about the topic. This is an exploratory study with data collected from literature sources and application of one questionnaire. Were interviewed ten teachers of a public school full - time in Paranavaí city, state of Paraná serving on average each year 180 students belonging to a region of low purchasing power of the city. The results indicated that teachers still confuse the difficulty in learning mathematics with learning disabilities. It must be also guided that when there is an intention to investigate and see if the student has dyscalculia the slowness of the Unified Health System (SUS) does not contribute to this investigation. |
