This theoretical work and research dedicated to the theme "toy" and the contributions of the processes of teaching and learning of children during early childhood. The society is going through a time of great social and technological change, and at a similar rate has increased violence in the country, so that young children spend no more able to play games and develop collective or individual in public spaces. As fast as society turns into, the rhythms of work and family habits change, and at this time of great change, institutions of kindergarten may create alternatives to minimize the consequences of these developments for the everyday life of children. In this scene, it is believed that it would be very interesting to insert, in institutional spaces, playrooms spaces that are arranged so as to allow children to play and develop both in respect of psychomotor skills, but also with regard to citizenship and socialization. This article seeks to demonstrate the contributions of toy libraries in institutions of kindergarten. The conclusion of the study presents some of the benefits that can provide playrooms for children in kindergarten and institutions like the play in childhood may be the way for diverse and meaningful learning. |
