Resumo: This work is thematic approach teachers about the importance of seeking knowledge on which to base their practices to deal optimally with school discipline. The central objective of this paper is to analyze and promote the construction of knowledge to assist in understanding the indiscipline besides considerations of common sense and under a different focus turned back to teaching practice. Whereas indiscipline presents itself as one of the greatest challenges of contemporary education and the teacher is the subject that deals directly with this reality and its consequences, this paper aims to present the different conceptions of discipline and how these different views have influenced the teaching practice and the understanding of this problem at school. In this perspective, we emphasize the importance of a reflective and based on previous studies on the topic work, which offers grants to schools and teachers to understand and articulate the vision of man, the world and society that guides its educational activities and so they can fulfill their commitment to the training of students, overcoming the barriers of school indiscipline, which both hinders this work.
