The school or the ideal Childhood Education City Centre is one who thinks the student as a whole. To make the acquisition of more pleasurable knowledge, nothing better than deploy psychomotor activities in the classroom. The proposal then for Early Childhood Education is to have in planning and teaching-learning process the pedagogical intervention resources aimed to experience bodily practices in schools to resize the educational process, particularly children who are in child schooling cycle . Through the body and movement the child can interact, express, understand and learn more about the world around them. Thus, it is possible to teach all the children on the move, as it is experiencing knowledge through your body, through the body action. The child is not only listening but interacts with the content being. Thus was given a special attention to be constantly seeking to deploy new activities of body and cognitive development for early childhood education is the foundation of the child who will provide contextualize their knowledge to elementary school. The results achieved during the research show that the child develops more and better through psychomotor activities. Therefore, it is essential to promote a dynamic education where children can express themselves in various ways. Este trabalho teve como temática a importância da psicomotricidade para o desenvolvimento infantil, buscando conscientizar pais e professores do impacto que essa ação possui na prática diária no convívio da criança no ambiente escolar. A escola ou o Centro Municipal de Educação Infantil (CMEI) ideal é aquele que pensa no aluno em sua totalidade. Para tornar a aquisição do conhecimento mais prazerosa, nada melhor do que implantar atividades psicomotoras em sala de aula. A proposta então, para a Educação Infantil é de ter no planejamento como processo de ensino-aprendizagem os recursos de intervenção pedagógica que visem a vivenciar práticas corporais no âmbito escolar para redimensionar o processo educativo, principalmente das crianças que se encontram no ciclo de escolarização infantil. Por meio do corpo e do movimento a criança pode interagir, se expressar, perceber e aprender mais sobre o mundo a sua volta. Desta forma, é possível ensinar tudo a criança quando está em movimento, pois ela está vivenciando o conhecimento através do seu corpo, por meio da ação corporal. A criança não fica apenas escutando e sim interage com o conteúdo abordado. Desta forma deu-se uma atenção especial de estar constantemente buscando implantar novas atividades de desenvolvimento corporal e cognitivo para que a Educação Infantil seja o alicerce da criança que proporcionará contextualizar seu conhecimento para o ensino fundamental. Os resultados atingidos durante a pesquisa demonstram que a criança se desenvolve mais e melhor através de atividades psicomotoras.
