Resumo: This work has the theme The Role of Education in the Toy Learning Process in Early Childhood Education , aims to understand the design of the toy and play in contemporary culture and the role of toys in the daily activities of children in the family , school and cultural space, in a institution of Child Education of the City of Telemachus Borba - PR . This paper aims to present the role of play in the process of learning and child development in the sense that it can encourage the taste for discovery , stimulating creativity , building knowledge , and appreciation of the play as teaching tool ; verify the role of play in the process of learning and child development in early childhood education ; reflect on the strategies used in the teaching learning process and develop teaching methods and techniques that integrate play in the educational process ; being aware of the importance of this action for the holistic development of children through research ; present ways to develop children 's taste for pranks considering the values assigned to them , providing opportunities for the expression of their creativity and participation through play . This work started from a historical , legal and science through literature review , observation , intervention and evaluation definition . Using field research . The approach was through meetings with teachers and students with family while the work was developed through intervention , a questionnaire survey directed to the family containing 14 questions was used . Obtained as a result of this research that family members understand that the toy and play, play an important role in the development of children , both at school and in the family . Considering an object toy that stimulates a child's learning.
