Resumo: This study aimed to conduct a study to investigate how teachers of early childhood education are entering the music in their teaching, and what is its contribution towards the development of learning once, may aid the child's psychomotor development, and collaborate in cognitive, social and emotional creativity, providing the student with contact with a playful and literate world. To achieve this goal, originally one grounded literature on ideas and thoughts from various authors, who consider music as an important teaching tool in the classroom was conducted. Following a field study with the intention of obtaining information relating to the research topic was held. As a working tool, questionnaires consisting of open and closed that were given to teachers working in early childhood education centers of Ibaiti in order to compare theory with practice questions were used. Data analysis was done after collecting the questionnaires and is presented by categories. We opted for this choice to facilitate the reader's understanding.
