Resumo: Through this work of completion of the Postgraduate Course in Teaching Methods and Techniques will be shown the importance of games and games in the process of teaching children’s learning in the school environment as an important teaching method for the development of the student, as also of their socialization through games, play, interaction and play together. With the main theme “The playful in the construction of the learning process in the infantile education” in the construction of the process of teaching and learning in the education, being used the street plays that are not used more by the children. The rescue of these games, bringing them to the educational environment is of paramount importance for the mental and motor development of the children, making of this context an essential factor to be worked in the schools by pedagogues, teachers, community and family. Therefore, it highlights games and street plays in early childhood education and the interdisciplinary organization of the teaching and learning procedure. In addition, street games will be addressed in the school environment to facilitate a greater learning of children. The importance of games and games and the historical trajectory of early childhood education in our country will be addressed, as will the importance of using playfulness for the development of learning and the discovery of new knowledge. For this, we need to consider the opinions of several authors, such as Friller, Lúcia Helena Alvarez Leite, Márcia Ambrósio Rodrigues Resende and many others who directly or directly mention in their books the importance of games and games in children’s daily lives.
