We performed a descriptive statistical analysis using as database the Census conducted in 2000 and implemented by the IBGE, which shows that labor forceis comprised of Goioerê 14,168 individuals, and this total is 1,427aged 10 to 17 years. For children and adolescents aged 10 to 14 years, most have five to eight years of study and belong tofamilies with per capita income of two minimum wages, and49.26% working and are not paid and not 39.06% have a formal contract and 83.54% belong to families where the head has less than 4 years of study. However, for adolescents aged 15 to 17 years 87.08% were working at the time of the survey, 3.24% are illiterate, that adolescents in this age group residing in urban areas 80.04% 9.79% work only belong from families whoseincome per capita is three times the minimum wage, 48.14% ofadolescent work and have no formal contract, 15.20% are from families where the head has more than eight years of study. The major concern is that the work done by children and adolescentsmay be terminated only when the income transfer policy and education to reach the family as a whole, required for the exercise of citizenship because of a better world. Há uma ansiedade mundial com relação aos resultados do trabalho infantil e sua representatividade sobre a renda e o nível educacional da criança e do adolescente. Este estudo objetiva apresentar características sócio-econômicas do trabalho infanto-juvenil de Goioerê-Pr. Foi realizada uma análise estatística descritiva utilizando como base de dados o Censo Demográfico 2000 realizado e implementado pelo IBGE, o qual apresenta que a PEA de Goioerê é formada por 14.168 indivíduos, e deste total 1.427 tem idade entre 10 e 17 anos. Para as crianças e adolescentes de 10 a 14 anos, a maioria possui de 5 a 8 anos de estudo e pertencem a famílias com renda per capita de dois salários mínimos, e 49,26 % trabalham e não são remuneradas e 39,06% não possuem carteira assinada e 83,54% pertencem a famílias em que o chefe possui menos de 4 anos de estudo. Porém, para os adolescentes de 15 a 17 anos 87,08% estavam trabalhando em ocasião da pesquisa, 3,24 % são analfabetos, que dos adolescentes nesta faixa etária residentes na zona urbana 80,04% trabalham que apenas 9,79% pertencem a famílias cuja renda per capita é de três salários mínimos, 48,14% destes adolescentes trabalham e não possuem carteira assinada, 15,20% são de famílias em que o chefe possui mais que oito anos de estudo.
