The present research aims to identify the changes brought to the Public Sector Social Security System, by the Federal Constitution of 1988 and Constitutional Amendments no. 20/98 and nº 41/03 and Law No. 9.717 / 98. It seeks to collect data on the Brazilian Social Security System, identify the reforms that occurred in 1998 and 2003, collect data on the Social Security System and finally, identify the importance of the Certificate of Social Security Regularity. The research is explanatory, bibliographic and documentary, within the quantitative approach. The main sources of research were the sites of the Ministry of Finance - Secretaria de Previdência e Planalto. From the information collected, it was possible to identify the deficit in social security and how it affects the current system, which led to the conclusion of the need for a pension reform. The CRP is an important social security control tool because it attests to the fulfillment of the criteria and requirements established in Law 9,717 / 98. |
