This study aims to analyze the importance of Science Education in the initial years of Elementary School, and to verify the relevance that school teachers assign practice activities to versify about Natural Science contentes. The research was conducted at a private school of Assis, city São Paulo state. The work involved the classes of 1st year to 5th year of Elementary School, totaling 155 students and six teachers regents. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires for students and teachers of the initial years of Elementary School. By them, we could observe that science teaching arouses the interest and enjoyment of the majority of students in the initial years of Elementary Education. The regents teachers that teach science contents in their classes, know the importance of this matter for the development children and give meaning to the practical classes. |
