Resumo: The scientific knowledge needs to be like a development’s product of the sociopolitical and cultural the individual, but this is a big challenge search strategies contextualization that enables the students create a relationship with education/schooling. This work has made a qualitative search to evaluate the student's scientific curiosity of 3rd year of Teacher Training a state Parana school. Enjoying that the motivation and interdisciplinary Chemistry feature, this work has checked the interest for the science by way of the experimentation like strategy helping the contextualization. The “Chemical fragrance” was the topic this work, where the students defined the fragrance’s chemical composition using methods of obtaining fragrances. Starting this experimental lesson, had worked with stoichiometric calculations, differences between atoms and molecules, groups and times in a atomic table, distinction regarding the nature of the elements, octet role and type of covalent chemical bonds. This project, arranged in several stages, allowed the evaluation time’s concentration, perseverance, team work, and improvement of the proposed model as well as the organization of work teams. Starting science articles read, the students held a extraction of the essence, made the fragrance and showed the work to the other students in the school. The development this work provided the students acquire knowledge as a product of their interaction with the real world, valuing the learn by discovery. Through the contextualization observed the importance of living, enhancement of human, the need to learn to solve practical issues of everyday life through the pursuit of research, was outlined means to be a search for other ways to solve real problems.
