Resumo: The traditional methodological approach in science education carries a fatigue and inattention, and this is mainly because they do not wake up in student interest. The use of multimedia resources in education tend to become more and more present day in the classroom transforming the way of teaching. The objective of this study was to evaluate the use of multimedia in science teaching and both questionnaires were applied to students from the 7th grade of elementary school in a public school in the city of Goioerê / PR. The results suggest that students crave and believe that the use of multimedia features are efficient for understanding content, also evaluated the use of multimedia present in the school and that the TV is rarely used, as opposed to computer lab features a increased use by teachers. The evaluation of multimedia to be used students pointed to the television and the internet as key methods to include in the classroom. The work The conclusion pointed the use of certain technologies in science education, beyond what has formulated a vision of what it should be applied as a multimedia resource room for receptivity students had evaluated with certain media.
