Resumo: This paper discusses the concepts escolanovistas in education for teaching physics. Promotes a reflection of the problems of impoverishment of content that the new school imposes. Demonstrates how to maintain a public education system geared to constructivist ideals contributes to the maintenance of social relationships. The study was conducted with high school students from public schools in an exploratory qualitative approach. The study evaluates the transformation of the role of teacher education agent for mere spectator. How this factors negatively influenced the education of the new school.
