The Information and Communication Technologies are present in our society and the school has a fundamental role in the promotion of the appropriation of this knowledge related to this theme by the students. To this end, it is essential to have an initial training of teachers oriented to the technologies, in order to implement the means of media resources and to explore the pedagogical knowledge regarding the most significant form of adaptation to pedagogical practices. To this end, the course "Graduation in Biological Sciences of Integrated Colleges of Itapetininga, São Paulo, has in its curriculum the discipline "Technologies Applied to Education". The present work had as objective to evaluate effectiveness of this course in the promotion, for the future teachers, in the pedagogical use of the technological resources. It is concluded that the contents administered by the teacher of the valued course,has contributed to a training aimed at the use of the technologies, although the futures teachers cited difficulties about the efficiency of the equipments for the conduction of the classes. The interviewees also pointed out that the easy handling and access to the tools worked during the course facilitated the development of the pedagogical activities. The discipline of technologies applied in education has shown to be a differential in the formation of science teachers and fundamental in the preparation of professional development committed to the quality of student education. |
