Sexual education is a very controversial topic. Currently in schools it is constantly treated superficially and often emphasizing only the negative aspects of sexuality or experience related to the prevention of teenage pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases. The superficiality of his approach in pedagogical practice has as main reason the poor training of teachers, who had to start addressing the issue from the implementation of the National Curriculum Guidelines on Sexual Orientation, with no prior preparation of the same for this. Thus, in the midst of these obstacles both formative nature as personal strategy that teachers are to work on the subject, it is the omission of more specific and profound issues around sexuality, and this fact, one becomes necessary systematic and emancipatory work on this issue. The main objective that guided this research was to analyze the manifestations of teachers and students in the face of theoretical and practical activities on subjects that include sexual education. From this perspective, they sought up possibilities to get from the results, significant input to the understanding of the main difficulties that teachers have on this topic, confirming the hypothesis that the public schools there is no systematic and scientific work forward said affair. |
