Brazil has gone through many changes, also changing the way of eating. Our diet should be as healthy as possible, however we know that this rarely occurs. Food currently eaten are considered of low nutritional value, being dangerous for children who are in kindergarten. The school unit must ensure that the supply of these children to be as healthy as possible and the family must continue this work. Therefore, the dyad, school and family must be in line. But that's not what we observe. The family hopes and delegates actions of teachers who say they do not fit them such tasks. Teachers, in turn, place in parents expectations they do not want or do not know how to comply. And among the discussions, students are that somehow end up losing because when family and school seek joint actions, income and student learning, is much better. Therefore, this study aimed to identify eating habits of the household of the school unit in an attempt to improve the nutritional quality and establish a partnership between family and school. To this end, the school must provide openings promoting various events to bring the community and the family and on the other hand families need to integrate and be aware of school routine of their children. Thus, family and school, has a duty to work together, assist and encourage in children a healthy eating behavior, always seeking a balance to improve the quality of life, both present and future. |
