This work had as its theme the contribution of public policies for environmental education and the vision that students of a public school in the city of Votuporanga - SP has on it. The common good, the quality of life and sustainability permeate environmental actions involving critical and emancipatory education of students in schools. There was legislation that supports environmental education and its contributions to the improvement of human actions in society, it was examined how global environmental risks have influenced the humanity of the modernization process, the political and pedagogical actions and how they have been implemented, identifying their challenges. Through a descriptive and quantitative research analyzed questionnaire administered to students in public school about their knowledge of current environmental policies. It was found that there is a superficiality with regard to environmental education in schools, discussion taking place just a few environmental issues. |
