This paper discusses about recycling with elementary school students. Shows the importance of recycling which should encourage them already in the literacy process, seeking to manipulate the materials that can be reused, taking them in hand, bringing what has been researched for its practice in everyday life, and with it is can improve the way of teaching and learning. Justifies the choice of subject matter in order to make an analysis of the contribution that recycling has on the environment, especially children in the realization of playful experiments using recyclable materials that transform into meaningful strategies to facilitate the pedagogical work. Aims to highlight the importance of recycling, to be of value in the process of teaching and learning, and motivate educational professionals with regard to recycle disposable material, presenting models and teaching students to fabricate toys. The methodology for the study is theoretical research, making a bibliographical survey. With works or selected sources was done reading removing the parts that interested the proposed study, briefing and organizing. Also did field research involving literacy teachers and observing the reactions and attitudes of students in recreational zones. Performing this work with children, surely provided to improve the environment, teaching that restore and preserve the environment are commitments of all. There was contribution to reducing, reusing and recycling of garbage, changing the reality in which they live, with their attitudes. |
