Environmental issues are increasingly evident in Brazil and the world. Governments make laws and study ways to minimize the impacts that humanity has been causing to the Environment. One of the simplest and least burdensome ways to create environmental awareness and, perhaps, lessen future impacts is to teach children to love and care for the planet. One of the strategies used for this is Environmental Education. This work sought to verify how the Environmental Education has been working with primary school children, especially with students with special educational needs and the possible difficulties encountered by teachers. To do this it had the participation of teachers from six municipal schools of Foz do Iguaçu – PR. The teachers answered a questionnaire that, after a bibliographical survey, was analyzed and discussed. |
