This study aimed to analyze the environmental licensing process filed with the Municipal Department of the Environment Barão de Cotegipe in 2015, checking the main areas that had licensing demand. Subsequent to the survey, evaluated the main challenges to municipal environmental licensing, including items such as personnel structure, municipal supervision and political pressure from the agency. It is concluded that the environmental licensing via County brings numerous advantages, especially regarding the process agility. In contrast to these advantages, the agency has many challenges to be worked for the success of the function. economic, social and environmental: a competent and responsible body, which includes the balance between the three pillars is required. You should be able to balance the ever-increasing environmental demands, with new processes and types of licenses, and keep employees constantly trained for these processes and know around various situations, covering mainly political pressure and entrepreneurs by releasing processes. |
