This monograph has as object of study the video platform and social network Youtube, which can serve as a teaching tool for children. The objective is to explore the audiovisual resource as a way of systematizing the study in the development of creativity, autonomy and knowledge sharing. The work is defined as a qualitative research using the Case Study method. The following stand out as methodological procedures: bibliographic review on the subject, analysis of the contents of the testimonies and of the activities carried out with the students of the 4th grade of Elementary School I. To produce the material that would be analyzed, two activities were given to the students: one of critical analysis of the videos “Como fazer mini MC Lanche Feliz do MC Donalds - Faça em casa” by Gato Galáctico and “Dicas da Babi” from the channel Mãe Nutricionista; and another one for the children to understand all the stages of producing a video for a channel from Youtube. It is understood that children today, who are digital natives, go through different teaching and learning processes daily on the internet and that these practices can be explored by teachers. This work was designed to develop children’s study autonomy, which has a helper on YouTube even though it is a complex process. It is believed, therefore, that YouTube can play a role in enhancing children’s learning and giving autonomy to their development if used correctly. |
