Resumo: Considering that black women face years of oppression, being subjugated and discriminated, it was investigated the elements that provoke resistance and/or violence in the trajectory of these women, in order to understand how a woman is (re)articulated in the environment of the Federal Technological University of Paraná (UTFPR). Therefore, it is necessary to know the stories that made a black teacher enter the academic career, to weave the network of actors that influence the teacher's professional activity and to understand how the process of resistance of the black teacher occurs, through the rearticulation of the teachers actors who are set before their color. Then, a qualitative research was carried out, with methodological inspiration in the content analysis. An open questionnaire was used as an information collection instrument, and then a heteroautobiographical reading of the research subject's narratives was made. Given this, it was found that the elements that sometimes strengthen the possibility of being a researcher black woman, sometimes weaken this possibility, since they are not dissociated. The teacher went through several stages of life until she arrived at the place of a black woman researcher, stages that at times were violence, and at other times, resistance. The two rearticulated factors made it strong and occupied its exclusive space, thus demystifying the myth of meritocracy.
