Resumo: |
Permaculture is a sustainable living model that aims to balance the environment with practices that seek to improve the interaction between humankind and ecosystem. These practices lead us to take care of nature and people, seeking a community life in a healthy way. Several researchers have been contributing with studies that refer to the insertion of Permaculture practices in basic education, in an interactive way, allowing the student to have contact with the land and other elements of nature while learning the concepts that are passed on in traditional disciplines. Permaculture is a complement to Environmental Education, because it brings meaning to sustainability with several practices that can be implemented in schools. This work aimed to analyze how the concept of Permaculture is being inserted in schools and how it can be added to the teaching of Nature Sciences. To this end, a scientometric evaluation was carried out in order to analyze the works published in Brazil related to Permaculture and teaching in Brazilian schools. From this survey it was possible to notice that although Permaculture is still a new concept that has few papers published in Brazil relating the subject to formal education, it is being gradually inserted in schools through pedagogical projects, and the schools that receive these projects have a good acceptance by students and teachers, enabling the experience of a meaningful learning that has contributed to an emancipatory education. |
