Resumo: This work had as theme the Higher Education in Brazil, which registered a great expansion in the last decades. The achievement of a constant improvement in the quality of education should be considered of paramount importance by Higher Education Institutions, as well as by the courses’ coordinators and by students and teachers. Consequently, there is an increase in advertising in this field and the need for adequate quality assessment mechanisms to guide students and managers and methods of choosing and improving educational services. This monograph aimed at identifying the student's perception of himself, the other students, the teachers and the Administration course of a private higher education institution in the southwestern region of Paraná. The study, in its nature began with the type of descriptive research, with a broad degree of generalization, in which the conclusions take into account the set of variables on the investigation. The research instrument for data collection proposed was a structured questionnaire, replicated and adapted from the article of Luciano Gonzaga Vanderley, presented at the congress Vlll Convibra 2011 and it was divided into three parts: initially questions about the profile of the students; then five qualitative questions to get acquainted with the students' perceptions, such as reasons for choosing a higher education course and to opt for the course of administration, favorable and unfavorable aspects of the course, and to request ideas for course improvements; and, finally, four quantitative questions for assessing students through a grading scale. The studied HEI - Higher Education Institution -has, in its Administration Course, 150 undergraduate students. The total sample of the questionnaires handed out and answered was 59. After data collection through the answered questionnaires, a manual process was initialized to separate answers in common and then they were included in spreadsheets for tabulation performed afterwards using Microsoft Office Excel. The main results obtained by the analysis of the data allowed to de fine that the undergraduate students profile is 64% female and 36% male and that 85% of the students work nowadays. The main reasons for the students to choose the course and to go for higher education are the search for development, growth and professional achievement and the development of entrepreneurial vision. The most cited suggestions were an increase of practical classes during the course, which is consistent with the result of the question of unfavorable aspects, among which is the excess of theory as the main discontent. The conclusions were based on the data obtained and made it possible for the proposed objectives to be reached.
