Resumo: |
The following research has as main objective analyze how gender violence is exhibited on the facebook. The carrying out of this work is justified since it concerns a social impact issue with consequences in the quality of life and livingness of the target individuals. Throughout the study it is presented a theoretical and analytical reasoning regarding a corpus composed of Facebook commentaries utilizing nethnographic research framework, which is a specific way of Content Analysis, since the data derives from an internet environment. It was perceived over the course of the research that gender violence has its basis on prejudice, the “gender ideology”, which unfolds in discriminatory and violent acts through commentaries. When violence is institutionalized and there are impeditive factors for the discussion of this matter in the social sphere, it is possible to characterize this phenomenon as social intolerance. The prejudice exhibited in the “gender ideology” promotes discriminatory, violent, and social intolerance acts, and this occurs through the dissemination of this prejudice and its entrenchment by legitimization from the commentators, who seeks groups of belonging and ontological justification. It is necessary to adopt an Antiprejudice Pedagogy as strategy in order to face this reality, through teaching-learning processes and the reconnaissance of the existence of such violence for interventional propositions, public policies and effective actions. |
