During the BAJA Racing SAE competitions, it was noticed that the vehicle/project of the Londribaja BAJA BAJA Racing had some deficiencies related to the suspension subsystem, allowing also to observe that the weak points of the suspension were the dynamic analysis and the kinematic designs, because the team did not develop any applied study, using software and also not performing the analytical part with much precision in the calculations. Therefore, the present work has the objective of developing and/or improving the suspension system, making changes on tires, shock absorbers, springs, axle sleeves, trays, suspension geometry, center of mass, rolling axis, and steering system. To be able to perform the necessary improvements it is necessary to use dynamic and static calculations, analytically and through software comparing with previous prototypes. |
