Resumo: In the business context, it is notable that human capital has become the most valuable intangible asset of organizations and, for that, it is important that there are human development plans, elaborated with intelligence and tied to the strategic planning of the organization, so that the needs are met. current and future of each of the organizational cells. Thus, the present work has the objective of analyzing the strategies of valorization of the Human Capital of a family company of the food sector of the West of Santa Catarina. For that, a descriptive qualitative research was used, with interviews to the HR Manager and the Company Director. The study aims to describe the importance of training and the strategies used to value human capital and the importance of an organization's efficient human resources management in the contribution of this development. With the work carried out one can see that the company is constantly changing in the processes of valorization of human capital and that there are projects in progress offering better working conditions in the company scope, such as: Leadership Development Program, project " factory ", Profit Sharing Program; project "Good Example.
