The need to measure the return on investment in innovation projects is increasing. The Research and Development sector of large companies need to have more security in the selection and priorization of projects. In this way, the economic feasibility of implementing new technologies in the market is guaranteed and the company’s financial health is assured. Therefore, a Return on Investment (ROI) measurement methodology linked to the Technology Readiness Level (TRL) system and Economic Management of Projects is proposed in projects with innovative content. With the use of the methodology in a case study focused on the R&D area of a forestbased company (entitled Beta S/A), and through the adoption of scenarios and assumptions about the development, there was a finding about the viability of implementing a new salable product for the company. |
