Social networks had huge impact in human relations, the contact that was made in person migrated to a message on a platform, the photos, previously analogical, are images published on a timeline. Due to the numerous possibilities of use and the few limitations, social networks may have a beneficial role in society, however, there is also the downside. Many psychological problems can be triggered and even enhanced by the use of networks, generated by their own users. Publishing only hedonistic moments becomes an enviable model to be followed by other users who see a manipulated reality that is often unattainable. This work seeks to highlight the negative effects of social networks and, especially, Instagram, considered the most negative social network in the study #StatusofMind, published by Royal Society for Public Health about social networks and mental health. The materialization of this research will be delivered through an animation in motion graphics, bringing data from the mentioned study, presenting it in a more objective way, with a language that adheres to the public delimited by the research that actively uses the social network in question. |
