Due to the numerous possibilities of use and the few limitations, social networks may have a beneficial role in society, however, there is also the downside. Many psychological problems can be triggered and even enhanced by the use of networks, generated by their own users. Publishing only hedonistic moments becomes an enviable model to be followed by other users who see a manipulated reality that is often unattainable. This work seeks to highlight the negative effects of social networks and, especially, Instagram, considered the most negative social network in the study #StatusofMind, published by Royal Society for Public Health about social networks and mental health. The materialization of this research will be delivered through an animation in motion graphics, bringing data from the mentioned study, presenting it in a more objective way, with a language that adheres to the public delimited by the research that actively uses the social network in question. As redes sociais causaram uma grande transformação nas relações humanas, o contato que era feito pessoalmente migrou para uma mensagem em uma plataforma, as fotos, antes analógicas, são imagens publicadas em uma timeline. Devido às inúmeras possibilidades de utilização e as poucas limitações, as redes sociais podem ter um papel benéfico na sociedade, no entanto, há também a parte negativa. Muitos problemas psicológicos podem ser desencadeados e até potencializados pelo uso das redes, gerado pelos seus próprios usuários. Publicar apenas momentos hedonistas se torna um modelo invejável a ser seguido por outros utilizadores que veem uma realidade manipulada que é, muitas vezes, inatingível. Este trabalho busca evidenciar os efeitos negativos das redes sociais e, principalmente, o Instagram, considerada a rede social mais negativa no estudo #StatusofMind, publicado pela Royal Society for Public Health sobre a saúde mental e redes sociais.
