Resumo: The present work had as its theme to know the difficulties faced by children with Down Syndrome included in Regular Education, in addition to the interest on the theme. For the development of the work, a Bibliographical Review was used about some authors, such as: Chaves (2003), Voivodic (2008), Cruz (2007), Movimento Down (2012), among others; Field Research through questionnaires applied to parents of students with Down Syndrome included in Regular Education of a public, private and APAE school, teachers of the included students, teachers of the School (APAE), and classroom observation. This work is expected to contribute to the better preparation of teachers who receive these children in regular education, as the difficulties encountered by teachers during the observations and analysis of the questionnaires are clear, thus, greater investment by institutions in preparing them for teach children with Down Syndrome.
