Resumo: This work had as its theme the use of new technologies in the teaching of History and Geography, because they are important resources to develop intellectual skills. The student can use these resources to record their ideas, give their opinion, and build knowledge. The research is classified as bibliographic of qualitative nature. Thus, its justification was based on the need to recognize the role of technology in education and the learning process of the disciplines mentioned above. To this end, the main objective of the research was to know and understand the use of these new technologies in the teaching of history and geography. For this, several sources and scholars of the subject were used. When completing the work, the need for articulation between the disciplines of History and Geography and technology was evidenced, and it was up to the teacher to assist the students in their formation in this new context, enabling them to collectively develop aspects inherent to the construction of knowledge. For this, it is essential that the teacher master the content to be taught in these two disciplines and that there is interaction and socialization between the students and the teacher, which will lead the student to the construction of the desired meaningful learning.
