Its theme: Storytelling in early childhood education. In the first moment, a bibliographic research was carried out, with a survey of authors and texts that were linked to the researched subject, based on the readings and the interest of the proposed theme. The objective of this work is to show the importance and usefulness of stories told in Early Childhood Education for the child's cognitive development. The problem of work is in children's literature that it can be an efficient methodology in the process of training children, enabling an affective and playful relationship that is contextualized and expanded with language. The work is justified in understanding reading and writing. The study has a qualitative and quantitative character, in which it sought to achieve all the research objectives. At the end of the research, it showed the influence that storytelling has on early childhood education. A presente pesquisa foi realizada por exigência da Modalidade a Distância da Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná (UTFPR), através da construção de um TCC para a conclusão da graduação em Métodos e Técnicas de Ensino, no período letivo de 2019-2020. O tema desenvolvido foi, A contação de história na educação infantil. Em primeiro momento foi realizada uma pesquisa bibliográfica, com levantamento de autores e textos que tinham ligação com o assunto pesquisado, com base nas leituras e no interesse do tema proposto. O objetivo desse trabalho foi o de mostrar a importância e a utilidade das histórias contadas na Educação Infantil para o desenvolvimento cognitivo da criança. A problemática do trabalho está em saber se, a literatura infantil poder ser uma metodologia eficiente no processo de formação das crianças, possibilitando uma relação afetiva e lúdica que se contextualiza e amplia-se com a linguagem. O trabalho se justificou pela necessidade de compreender como se desenvolve a leitura e a questão da escrita, e pela importância de se discutir como a contação de história pode contribuir para o processo cognitivo da criança na educação infantil. O estudo teve caráter qualitativo e quantitativo, e, como resultado da pesquisa, pode-se apontar que, a literatura infantil deve ser inserida no contexto escolar de forma educativa, proporcionando as crianças momentos de reflexão, interação, e aprendizagem, e, nesse contexto, a contação de história pode contribuir para o processo cognitivo da criança desde a educação infantil, no sentido de desenvolver a criticidade, o raciocínio, a criatividade e a imaginação. 2021-12-22T17:45:55Z 2021-12-22T17:45:55Z 2020-09-19 specializationThesis SANTOS, Denise Andreo Müller dos.
