Resumo: This work aimed to the grain yield components in different common bean cultivars in the organic farming system in order to identify the best performing cultivars for growing purposes. as for parental selection in breeding. Fourteen cultivars of black bean, carioca and cranberry commercial group were evaluated. The experiment was conducted in Pato Branco, Paraná, harvest 18/19. The experimental units consisted of four rows of three meters in length, with row spacing of 0.5 meters and 12 Plants per linear meter. The fertilization was the basis of pelleted poultry litter and thermophosphate. Phytosanitary management was performed with natural and biological products. The characters analyzed were: number of pods per plant (NVP), number of grains per pod (NGV), grain mass per plant (MGP), one hundred grain mass (MCG) and grain yield (PROD). Significant differences were observed among cultivars for the variables MGP, MCG and PROD. BRSMG Realce (cranberry), TAA DAMA, Pérola, IPR Tangará from the carioca group and Anfp 110 and BRS Esplendor from the black group presented higher grain yield, presenting potential for organic production.
