Resumo: Educational courses in the field of Industrial Automation and Process Control generally approach theoretical content about modeling techniques and control strategies, but the current market needs in fact of professionals who know how to use these concepts in practice. With new technologies, it is possible to restructure the teaching methodology of these courses in their curriculum, by implementing practical classes to complement the lectures. Pedagogical practices aim to turn the student, receiver of information, into a performer of the activities, which should be dynamic and simulate real situations, serving as a guide for actions to be taken. Currently, there are several tools available that can be used in teaching methodology, serving as facilitators of learning, helping students in tests and in practical realization of the theories. Using some of these tools, this academic dissertation aims at organizing an educational environment (laboratory), for conducting courses and training with practical lessons in Automation and Process Control.
