The industry has experienced many transformations throughout history, and we are about to face a new industrial revolution. The present work deals with the concept of Industry 4.0, considering its fundamental characteristics and its essential foundations. Through the Systematic Bibliographic Review tool, references were taken to delimit the concept of industry 4.0. Inherent in the nature of the concept, tools have been defined for industry 4.0, which establish its necessary foundations: Intelligent systems, human-machine interface, the cyber-physical systems and big data. |
