The main objectives of this assignment were to realize and analyze the products resulting from the translations of the songs "MY POWER" and "Black Parade", from the processual biases of translation, which is affirmed by the theorists Even-Zohar, with his Polysystems Theory, Gideon Toury, in Descriptive Studies of Translation, Lanzetti, Bessa, et al and their valuable Translation Procedures, Susan Bassnett, with the postulates of literary translation, André Lefevere, through the prism of the actions of literary patronage, and also through the bias of black pride, with input from theorists Homi K. Bhabha and Maria Tymoczko, dealing with aspects of postcolonialism and cultures considered peripheral. In addition to realizing and analyzing the products of these translations, the aim of this assignment was also to verify the relevance of the studied songs to the Brazilian cultural polysystem, based on the analysis of cultural exchanges provided by the literary stamps presented in Beyoncé's artwork. It was found that, even in different cultural polysystems, it is possible to notice similar points between the American and Brazilian cultures, as both cultures benefit from a cultural origin partially derived from African peoples. It is also concluded from this study that the Brazilian cultural polysystem can benefit from the literary stamp of the composer Beyoncé, who merges the elements of black pride, postcolonial social denunciation, ostentation and Afrofuturism. O trabalho de conclusão que está a seguir analisa as traduções, feitas para o Português - Brasileiro, desenvolvidas pelo próprio pesquisador/tradutor, das canções “MY POWER” e “Black Parade”, que estão presentes na obra audiovisual da cantora e compositora Beyoncé. Os objetivos centrais desse trabalho foram conhecer e analisar os produtos resultantes das traduções das cações “MY POWER” e “Black Parade”, a partir dos vieses processuais da tradução, o que é fundamentado pelos teóricos Even-Zohar, com sua Teoria dos Polissistemas, Gideon Toury, nos Estudos Descritivos da Tradução, Lanzetti, Bessa, et al e seus valiosos Procedimentos da Tradução, Susan Bassnett, com os postulados da tradução literária, André Lefevere, pelo prisma das ações do mecenato literário, e também pelo viés do orgulho negro, com aporte dos teóricos Homi K. Bhabha e Maria Tymoczko, tratando sobre os aspectos do pós-colonialismo e as culturas consideradas periféricas. Além de conhecimento e análise dos produtos dessas traduções, também foi objetivo deste trabalho verificar a pertinência da tradução das canções selecionadas para estudo para o polissistema cultural brasileiro, a partir da análise dos intercâmbios culturais proporcionados pelas marcas literárias presentes na obra de Beyoncé. Descobriu-se que, mesmo em polissistemas culturais diferentes, é possível notar pontos semelhantes entre as culturas estadunidense e brasileira, já que ambas as culturas se beneficiam de uma origem cultural parcialmente derivada de povos africanos.
