Resumo: This work deals with the reuse of industrial solid waste, stimulating learning in a school cooperative. This research focuses on sustainability, social responsibility and encouraging circularity in a French fries factory and in the Castrolanda community. Thus, the research aims to develop a product in a school environment from the reuse of solid waste, promoting sustainability and environmental education. This study was carried out in a School Cooperative, which encourages and encourages cooperativism and its traditions, through the region's agro-industrial cooperative; therefore, a project for the reuse of packaging lost during the production process of the French fries unit of Castrolanda Cooperativa Agroindustrial located in the municipality of Castro-PR was elaborated; where the packaging of French fries and employee uniforms are reused, which are exchanged when they are damaged, worn, no longer useful, or, when the employee is dismissed from the company, they are discarded by this manufacturing unit, and used for making of ecobags, along with the wrappings lost in the process. Through the observation of the production process of the Castrolanda French fries factory, and the solid waste generated, it was noted the losses of packaging, and through research on ways to reduce this waste, several ideas were found related to development of sustainable products, then, came the purpose of reusing these packages. The methodology used in this work is Design Science Research, being applied from the point of view of its nature; qualitative, as to the problem; the method of evaluating artifacts is descriptive. As for the population and sample, it was carried out with elementary school students II. As a result, it was verified that the products developed in the school cooperative are used as a learning object, and generate profit for the child cooperative, thus concentrating on the essence of circular business models.
