Resumo: Aviation was a great milestone in history, as it directly reduced the travel time between origin and destination. Along with the importance of transporting people and cargo comes the focus on reliability studies, design improvements and also fault investigation (catastrophic failures, component life control, material properties, etc.). Numerical solving methodologies for structural and fluid dynamics are not new in industry and academia, and are used to find deformations in a wing with a 1-meter chord, Selig-1223 profile and a 4-meter wingspan. Lift and drag results are obtained, with values in the stall region of 2.61 and 0.199. At the tip, there is a maximum deformation of 13 millimeters. Opportunities for further studies are found for constructive improvement, weight reduction and better reliability of results.
